THREE ALLEGATIONS ON HADITH OF “THE BRICK” AND THEIR ANSWERS
Ahmadis/Qadianis and their Mirza are
like their brothers, the Jews,"يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ" (They distort words from their [proper]
usages). As such they did with the following Hadith:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "My similitude in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: 'Would that this brick be put in its place!' So I am that brick, and I am the last of the Prophets." Sahih al-Bukhari 3535.
This Hadith refers to the finality of
prophethood on our Holy Prophet Muhammad s.a.w who was referred to as the last
brick. On the other hand, it proves that the second advent of Issa Ibn Mariam
a.s doesn’t contradict the finality of prophethood as his brick is already
present in this building of prophethood.
This meaning is crystal clear that it
annoyed and worried Ahmadis/Qadianis and so, they tried to twist its meaning
and they put their stupid allegations:
FIRST ALLEGATION: “This Hadith speaks
about law bearing prophets”
SECOND ALLEGATION: “How can a sincere
Muslim believe that previous prophets’ laws have many bricks but the law of
Islam which is the greatest, only had one?”
This allegation is completely
dependent on the first one.
THIRD ALLEGATION: “The Hadith speaks
about prophets before our Holy Prophet s.a.w”
ANSWER:
The word (The prophets, الأنبياء) is a general word which
means All Prophets because this word is attached to the defining article (أل التعريف) which indicates a general
meaning untill proved otherwise. Saying that this word indicates a specific
meaning (which is law bearing prophets) requires another proof, and so we say
to Ahmadis/Qadianis: "هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ" (Bring forth your proofs, if
you are truthful).
Their second allegation is completely based on the first
allegation/misinterpretation. They said: “How can a sincere Muslim believe that
previous prophets’ laws have many bricks but the law of Islam which is the
greatest, only had one?”
It is crystal clear that the Hadith speaks about the prophets
themselves not their laws. Each brick corresponds to a prophet in number not in
quality (one = one). Our Holy Prophet s.a.w is the greatest of all prophets, as
the house wasn’t complete without Him, but Ahmadis/Qadianis, and #TheLiarMirza,
say that the house is still incomplete despite the advent of our Holy Prophet
s.a.w! MGA Qadiani said:
Translation: (And it was empty place brick I mean the blessed
of this architecture, God wanted to fulfil the news and complete the building
with the last brick, I am that brick you lookers). Roohani Khaza’en, part 16,
pages 177,178
Here, MGA agrees with us regarding the meaning of the brick.
Can Ahmadis/Qadianis say that Mirza means his own law?! In addition, it is now
very clear that the last brick means the last prophet and Mirza regarded
himself as such.
We also say: How can a sincere Muslim believe that the
prophet hood was incomplete after our Holy Prophet s.a.w that’s why MGA became
a prophet?! Mirza said:
Translation: The garden of Adam was incomplete up till now,
and it became complete, with its trees and leaves, by my advent. Roohani Khaza’en, part 21, page 144.
Now, do you, Ahmadis/Qadianis, believe that Mirza is the last
prophet?!
Ragarding the third allegation which is: The Holy Prophet
Muhammad s.a.w could have used the term “all prophets” but he used the words
“prophets before me”.
This allegation should be rediricted to Ahmadis/Qadianis
themselves because they say that the Hadith speaks about law bearing prophets
who were all before our Holy Prophet s.a.w. so, why our Holy Prophet s.a.w said
“prophets before me” inspite that all law bearing prophets were before Him?.
When Ahmadis/Qadianis answer this question, our answer on their allegation will
be the same.
Our Holy Prophet s.a.w said “prophets before me” as it is a
Quranic manner, Allah s.w.t said:
“And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O
Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are
certain [in faith]”
“Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is
those who are the successful”
These two verses indicates that the successful are those who
believe in what has been revealed to our Holy Prophet s.a.w, and what was
revealed before Him as there is no revelation (no prophets) after Him.
