Umar Ibn Ul Khattab was a recipient of Divine revelation?

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَرْحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏قَدْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي الأُمَمِ قَبْلَكُمْ مُحَدَّثُونَ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ مِنْهُمْ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ تَفْسِيرُ مُحَدَّثُونَ مُلْهَمُونَ ‏.‏

A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

"There had been among the people before you inspired persons and if there were any such among my Umma Umar b. Khattab would be one of them. Ibn Wahb explained the word Muhaddathun as those who receive hint from the High (Mulhamun)." Sahih Muslim 2398 

زَادَ زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏لَقَدْ كَانَ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ رِجَالٌ يُكَلَّمُونَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَكُونُوا أَنْبِيَاءَ، فَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ فَعُمَرُ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Among the nation of Bani Israel who lived before you, there were men who used to be inspired with guidance though they were not prophets, and if there is any of such persons amongst my followers, it is 'Umar."  Sahih al-Bukhari 3689

In people before us, Muhaddathun were certainly present, but in this Ummah, they may be present. Umar Ibn El Khattab will be one of Muhaddathun of this Ummah (If any).

MGA Qadiani twisted the Hadith as follows:

MGA Qadiani said:

"يا أخي انظر في البخاري وغيره من الصحاح كيف بشر نبينا ورسولنا صلى الله عليه وسلم وقال: إنه سيكون في أمته قوم يكلمون من غير أن يكونوا أنبياء ويسمون محدثين"  تحفة بغداد (الخزائن الروحانية، الجزء7 صفحة 15)

Translation: "Oh my brother, look in Bukhari and other authentic books (of Hadith), how our Holy Prophet and messenger s.a.w preached and said: there will be people in his Ummah who will be inspired with guidance without being prophets and will be called Muhaddatheen" ٌ Rohani Khaza'in Part 7, p.15.

Look how MGA Qadiani twisted the Hadith to prove his claims of being a Muhaddath and a recipient of divine revelation!

Umar r.a was a recipient of Divine revelation according to MGAQ:

“Hadrat Umar r.a too was the recipient of Divine revelation” The need for the imam, p. 4.

What is the fact?

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أُنَاسًا كَانُوا يُؤْخَذُونَ بِالْوَحْىِ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَإِنَّ الْوَحْىَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَ، وَإِنَّمَا نَأْخُذُكُمُ الآنَ بِمَا ظَهَرَ لَنَا مِنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ، فَمَنْ أَظْهَرَ لَنَا خَيْرًا أَمِنَّاهُ وَقَرَّبْنَاهُ، وَلَيْسَ إِلَيْنَا مِنْ سَرِيرَتِهِ شَىْءٌ، اللَّهُ يُحَاسِبُهُ فِي سَرِيرَتِهِ، وَمَنْ أَظْهَرَ لَنَا سُوءًا لَمْ نَأْمَنْهُ وَلَمْ نُصَدِّقْهُ، وَإِنْ قَالَ إِنَّ سَرِيرَتَهُ حَسَنَةٌ‏.

Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:

"People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favor the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good." Sahih al-Bukhari 2641.

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْكِلاَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رضى الله عنه بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِعُمَرَ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ نَزُورُهَا كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَزُورُهَا ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَيْهَا بَكَتْ فَقَالاَ لَهَا مَا يُبْكِيكِ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِرَسُولِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ مَا أَبْكِي أَنْ لاَ أَكُونَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِرَسُولِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَكِنْ أَبْكِي أَنَّ الْوَحْىَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ‏.‏ فَهَيَّجَتْهُمَا عَلَى الْبُكَاءِ فَجَعَلاَ يَبْكِيَانِ مَعَهَا ‏.‏

‏ Anas reported that after the death of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) Abu Bakr said to 'Umar:

"Let us visit Umm Aiman as Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to visit her. As we came to her, she wept. They (Abu Bakr and Umar) said to her: What makes you weep? What is in store (in the next world) for Allah's-Messenger (ﷺ) is better than (this worldly life). She said: I weep not because I am ignorant of the fact that what is in store for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (in the next world) is better than (this world), but I weep because the revelation which came from the Heaven has ceased to come. This moved both of them to tears and they began to weep along with her." Sahih Muslim 2454

أخبرنا أبو بكر الأصبهاني أنبأ أبو نصر العراقي ثنا سفيان بن محمد الجوهري ثنا علي بن الحسن ثنا عبد الله بن الوليد ثنا سفيان عن الشيباني عن أبي الضحى عن مسروق قال : كتب كاتب لعمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه هذا ما أرى الله أمير المؤمنين عمر فانتهره عمر رضي الله عنه وقال لا بل اكتب هذا ما رأى عمر فإن كان صوابا فمن الله وإن كان خطأ فمن عمر (البيهقي 20135)

Narrated Masrooq:

"A secretary to 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him) wrote: "This is what Allah taught 'Umar" for this statement 'Umar reproached him and commanded him to write: "This is what 'Umar thought, if it comes out to be truth it is from Allah, if it turns out to be a mistake 'Umar is responsible" Sunan Al Bay’haqi 20135.

Umar r.a denied receiving revelation. It is now crystal clear that MGA Qadiani was a liar in claiming that Umar r.a was a recipient of Divine revelation.
